This README documents the fields found in the metadata files included with the MEDS-II dataset. Each file contains 1 header line followed by 1,307 lines which correspond to each image file in the corpus. subject_metadata.csv Field Name | Description --------------------------------------------------------------------- img_dname The directory of the image img_fname The filename of the image in the format: Snnn-nn-t10_nn where S(nnn) is the subject number/id (nn) was the encounter (chronological sequence of encounters fot that subject) (nn) is the face image number for that encounter/submission (not total count) subject_id The uniqe Subject ID assigned to a person enc_num A counter of the number of encounters img_num A counter of the number of images at the time of encounter subject_imgcount A counter of the total number of images of a subject age_phd The age of the subject at photo date no_phd A boolean to indicate whether a photo date was given for the image (date of arrest was used instead) inv_phd A boolean to indicate that the photo date was invalid (date of arrest was used instead) sex The gender of the subject in the image rac The race of the subject in the image hgt The estimated height of the subject in the image wgt The estimated weight of the subject in the image img_width The width of the image in pixels img_height The height of the image in pixels color_space The color space (RGB or Gray) of the image label
